Sound Therapy

Sound therapy — also termed “acoustic therapy” — is a non-invasive technology that uses audible sound to help restore the body to optimal health, balance, and function. It promotes the body’s natural healing abilities through the use of electronic sound application devices to transmit frequencies associated with healthy cells to the body’s organs and tissues.

Modern science has shown that the human body is a dynamic energy system and that our cells, organs, and tissues have their own vibratory nature. This natural resonant frequency can become upset and unbalanced, leading to pain, illness, or disease.

At Steamboat Hot Springs, we offer two inovative and advanced approaches to sound therapy: Cymatherapy and Sonatherapy.

Sonatherapy*

Sonatherapy is a specialized type of acoustic therapy that has been developed exclusively by researchers of The Cosolargy Institute for application at Steamboat Hot Springs. It is a unique and advanced approach to acoustic healing that uses wavefronts of sound, light, and color combined with hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, massage, and other energetic modalities to promote natural health of the body. Cymatherapy

Cymatherapy uses a unique and internationally patented delivery system of frequencies. Acoustic applicators are used by our trained professionals to deliver precise combinations of frequencies associated with healthy tissue and organ systems. Depending on the area of the body receiving the vibrational therapy, this may be done with a hand applicator or through a special underwater applicator in Steamboat’s geotheramal mineral waters.

The sound waves help to normalize imbalances and synchronize the cells’ frequencies back to a natural healthy state of vibrational resonance. For example, in the case of muscular discomfort, the energy of the muscle and the frequency of its field will have been changed by the injury or condition affecting it. Cymatherapy transmits a corrective frequency into the muscle to rebalance its energy and stimulate the body’s natural healing process.

A scientific breakthrough in sound therapy, the Cymatherapy uses hundreds of “commutations,” which are harmonious combinations of five frequencies, to correct a variety of imbalances in the body. It also employs magnetic therapy, and many well-constructed medical studies in Europe, Asia, and the United States have proven that oscillating magnetic fields are effective in treating physical problems. The results are enhanced through the combination of sound and magnetic therapy — two powerful and natural healing agents in the field of bioresonance and vibrational medicine.

Individualized Plans

Each Cymatherapy session is carefully designed to meet the individual needs of the client. We recommend a consultation with our licensed naturopathic doctor, who will assess your individual needs and help design the appropriate combination of commutations to be used by our professional therapists. Most conditions require a series of 8-10 sessions. The exact number of sessions will depend on the length of time you have had the condition and the number of different areas of the body that are affected.

Facial Rejuvenation with Cymatherapy

This is a specialized acoustic protocol designed by a plastic surgeon to restore a more youthful appearance through action on cells, muscle tone, skin, connective tissue, and collagen. A single treatment will produce visible results, but to achieve striking results, it is recommended that a minimum of 6 sessions be done over three weeks. Full results can be achieved with 12 to 15 sessions over a 6- or 7-week period. Results can be expected to last for approximately five years.

The advantages are that there’s no down time, no recovery, no injections, and no surgery. This is a truly win-win proposition — a beauty therapy that’s good for your overall health.
