Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a specialized massage that gently assists the lymphatic system in maintaining the body’s fluid balance, blood circulation, and immune mechanisms. This light skin-stretching technique helps to promote the movement of fluid that often accompanies surgical procedures. When combined with both compression and gentle exercises there can be a reduction in both post-operative discomfort and swelling. By utilizing manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, and targeted lymphatic exercise, we are able to optimize lymphatic flow and functional recovery for our patients after surgery.

Manual lymphatic drainage has been clinically proven to reduce swelling post-procedure as well as reduce pain and speed recovery.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid in the body. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid.

*90 min Manual Lymphatic Drainage service includes 45 minutes of Gentle Relaxation Massage and 45 minutes of Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

Please make your appointment a minimum of 48 hours in advance. A credit card is required to secure your appointment. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. We are unable to serve children under the age of 12. Massage clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the therapy room. A “no-show” or “same day cancellation” appointment will be charged full-service price. Group reservations are subject to contracted agreement.
