Located on a Geothermal Spring South of Reno
Steamboat Hot Springs Healing Center & Spa is Reno, Nevada’s only mineral hot springs. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Steamboat Hot Springs is conveniently 15 minutes from downtown Reno, 20 minutes from Mt. Rose Ski Resort, 35 minutes from Incline Village, 24 min from Carson City, and 27 min from Virginia City. A registered state historic landmark, the day spa features geothermal water for soaking combined with the relaxation of a spa getaway. It is open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Considered a local treasure—a therapeutic respite in the high desert of the West—Steamboat’s famous natural volcanic waters are chock-full of rare, health-boosting minerals found nowhere else in North America.
All soaks at Steamboat Hot Springs include aromatherapy, as well as the use of the outdoor geothermal hot tub. Reservations are highly recommended. Bathing suits are required in public areas. Clients are asked to bring their own towels, although Steamboat Hot Springs offers towel rentals and provides robes for massage clients free of charge. Guests also have the option of soaking indoors in private spring-fed tubs. In addition to soaking, Steamboat Hot Springs offers guests an array of luxurious spa services, such as therapeutic massage treatments—including those using CBD oil—sauna, mud treatments, lymphatic stimulation, cupping and hot stone therapy, exfoliation scrubs, chakra alignment therapy, vibrational therapeutics and Naturopathic consultations, to highlight just a few items on the comprehensive spa menu.
The Center also offers sound healing events, juice cleanses, cancer-care, trauma release services and other comprehensive health regimine programs. Steamboat Hot Springs Healing Center & Spa offers gift cards, a retail store and CBD products, bath salts, as well as signature aromatherapy blends.
